About the Job
We are a growing leader in the utility and hydro excavation industry is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to support high-volume recruiting for field operations. This position is ideal for a recruiter who has successfully sourced and hired CDL drivers and utility field personnel in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-cycle recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding.
- Recruit for positions including:
- CDL Class A Drivers
- CDL Class B Drivers
- Hydrovac Operators
- CCTV & Locators
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and hiring priorities.
- Source candidates using job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting tools.
- Conduct phone screens, coordinate interviews, and manage candidate communications.
- Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Manage a high-volume requisition workload while providing an excellent candidate experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting within the utility, hydro excavation, pipeline, construction, or related industries.
- Proven success recruiting CDL Class A and B drivers, Hydrovac Operators, and field personnel.
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); Fountain experience is a plus.
- Strong sourcing, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
